The thesis as written is vague and general. B Logical progression of details with a clear and effective order. The tone and purpose is inconsistent and difficult to determine. Mechanics 20 pts. While sense language is used, it is not very effective in creating imagery D Writing appears rushed or underdeveloped. F Writing is confusing and hard to follow. The writer supports the thesis with adequate details. D The flow of the essay from detail to detail is difficult to understand or implies that important information has been left out. C Organization is clear.

The thesis is adequate, but could be sharpened. Obvious supporting details may be missing, and irrelevant details may be present. Sentences are strong and expressive with varied structure.
